Christmas hols is here...
and of course, Jade isn't around.

I can't wait until Jade starts attending Hogwarts and get sorted into Slytherin. I hope Al and I will be Prefects so we can watch out for her.


Mum said that the Chinese Wizarding education is more progressive than Hogwarts--in addition to providing classes on ancient Chinese magic as "extracurriculars."

*sighs* Ravenclaws.

I think Jade's ready to come home though. It can't be fun, attending such a strict Chinese school.
They won't even let her miss a few days during Christmas! They have a week's holiday during Chinese New Year, but of course, during that time I'm already back at Hogwarts >_<

At least I'll have Al over for Christmas Eve.
...but having your best mate is not the same as having your little sister.

I time my Internet sojourn whenever he's outside the Manor, no worries.
And my Dad likes you, even if he doesn't say so.

Which explains why I'm so pathetic at fourteen. My Dad was pathetic at fourteen too.

Wood has a crush on you, you know. And most of your sister's Gryffindor friends. Girls like you, seriously.

Your Mum's the coolest Mum ever. (And don't tell my Mum I said that!)

Yeah, she's cool, but she's definitely not a normal Mum like the othrs. *sighs* Just because I'm a boy it doesn't mean I don't need her to be around.

Wood just likes any Quidditch player. She'd move on soon enough to Bell.
Lily's friends are only thirteen!

Well, at least you get to see her during summer hols. And there's also all her impromptu visits to Hogwarts. Would you have felt better if she had left Jade behind?

Wood does like brunette Quidditch players. Bet you ten galleons that she has all your Dad's Quidditch stats memorized.

So? We are only fourteen. And I didn't ask you to go out with them, you dolt. I'm only pointing out that lots of girls do find you attractive.

*sighs* I don't know. You're right. Jade would probably be miserable in the Manor without Mum around. And Dad at work...and myself at Hogwarts. My grandparents aren't exactly cheery company either.

Haha. Very funny. The next time some old Witch pinches my cheek and say "You look just like your Dad!" I might just go and do that. Or maybe tattoo a snake on my face. That'd be effective.

Cousin Teddy is fine--catching bad Wizards, breaking hearts left and right, etc. He said you should visit your Grandaunt more often.
